Alzheimer's Vaccine Programme

An Alzheimer's Vaccine Programme is currently running at Glasgow Memory Clinic. If you or someone you care about have Alzheimer's disease or are worried about a decline in memory function then you may be eligible to participate in our Alzheimer's vaccine programme.
If you are aged 55 years or more and have a reliable person who can attend study visits with you then contact us for further information.
Medical care and study medication will be provided at no financial cost.
Vaccines for Alzheimer's disease are a very important avenue of research. The vaccines are designed to try and prevent the build up or promote the removal of the abnormal amyloid protein plaques that build up in the brains of Alzheimer's patients.

Glasgow Memory Clinic was the first centre in Scotland to conduct Alzheimer's Vaccine trials in 2007.
